We are currently looking for a Director of Operations, Seasonal Outreach Coordinator and a Sales Manager.



DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS

The Director of Operations is responsible for directing and coordinating the daily operations of an international/cultural exchange organization. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, the duties and responsibilities of this position include broad strategic planning, formulating company policies for review and approval by the CEO, managing daily operations, participating in the budget process company-wide and planning the use of materials (particularly information technology) and human resources.

This person will be primarily responsible for leading the planning of any major information technology projects/initiatives in the company, including working with sales/marketing to identify and create tools, datasets, products, services, etc. In this capacity, the DOO will participate in the development of marketing materials, including web portals, technical articles, seminars etc., for end users in combination with marketing department leads; provide support as needed for expansion of business; supervise the maintenance of data analysis requirements company-wide; provide support within the sales/marketing process; and take on other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS: Experience must be in working with information technology systems and applications in the international/cultural exchange industry. Minimum of one year experience and MBA.



SEASONAL OUTREACH COORDINATOR

Alliance Abroad Group employs Independent Contractors around the U.S. during peak seasons to serve as Outreach Coordinators for Internationals participating in our work and cultural exchange programs. Outreach Coordinators serve as a primary support for both participants and host companies and deal with issues ranging from culture shock to job performance issues. While rewarding, this job is challenging and requires exceptional problem solving skills, creativity, and a calm, professional demeanor. Job duties are performed almost entirely via computer and phone. Sliding scale compensation based on number of participants assigned. Training is provided in AAG policies and procedures and State Department Regulations. Ongoing supervisory support is provided throughout the seasons. AAG is currently accepting resumes for our winter season.





SALES MANAGER

The Regional Sales Manager will report directly to the Director of Sales and work closely with other Regional Sales Managers on the team. Incumbent will be responsible for identifying areas of the country and specific companies that can utilize international exchange programs, developing and implementing strategies to obtain new business and expand sales, meeting short and long term goals, contributing to the forecasting of goals and providing reports on sales and or services activities for given period of time.

This person will also be responsible for preparing and conducting product presentations and demonstrations, participating in trade shows by representing the organization and sharing information on products, and representing AAG on scheduled recruitment trips and other overseas initiatives.

QUALIFICATIONS: Sales experience is preferred, but not required. Must be passionate about international/cultural exchange and travel. Skilled knowledge of Excel and Word are required, as well as database management and familiarity with the Internet. Bachelors Degree in a related field required, such as Sales or Marketing. Must be a self-starter who is goal-minded and likes a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
