How it Works

2 to 4 months before anticipated start date
Company submits Application to AAG

As soon as position request is received by AAG
AAG promotes the position(s) to global network of candidates

Approximately 1 to 2 months before start date
Set up a virtual interview with the candidate at your suggested time
The position is offered to the candidate
Training Plan (DS-7002) is developed with AAG’s support and signed by you and the candidate

Approximately 4 to 6 weeks prior to arrival
DS-2019 Form (J1 Visa Documentation) is issued by AAG

2 to 4 weeks prior to arrival
Participant applies for a visa at the U.S. Embassy in home country

Anticipated start date
Participants arrive and begin internship/training

Full-Service Placements:
Step 1: Company submits application to AAG.
Step 2: Position promoted to global network of candidate.
Step 3: Interviews set up at your suggested time. The position is offered to the candidate.
Training Plan (DS-7002) is developed and signed by you and the candidate.
Step 4: Visa documentation is issued.
Step 5: Interviews are held at the US Embassy.
Step 6: Participants arrive and begin training.

Self-Arranged Placements:
Step 1: Host Company completes Self-Arranged Application Form and Training Plan DS 7002.
Step 2: Participant completes AAG Application.
Step 3: AAG Account Manager contacts Host Company to confirm training details and schedule a site visit, if necessary.
Step 4: Visa documentation is issued.
Step 5: Interviews are held at the US Embassy.
Step 6: Participants arrive and begin training.
